GLOBAL IMPACT

Under four Domains:

Water

Development of scalable localized solutions to ensure clean water access in conflict zones, incorporating water testing, purification technologies

Soil

Targets the assessment and mitigation of soil toxicity through innovative technologies such as satellite imagery and machine learning. The goal is to create comprehensive datasets for evidence and action, facilitating the restoration of safe and fertile land.

Radiation

This domain emphasizes the use of technology to accurately measure radiation levels and implement safety protocols, aiming to minimize health risks and environmental impacts associated with radiation.

Air

Addresses the assessment and improvement of air quality in conflict zones, focusing on identifying sources of air pollution and implementing measures to reduce harmful emissions. It involves leveraging advanced monitoring technologies and developing innovative solutions to protect public health and the environment from the adverse effects of degraded air quality.

We are looking for companies who can adapt their solution to fit one of these challenges:

Map Environmental Damage

How can we accurately map and assess environmental destruction in conflict zones using integrated technologies such as satellite imagery and machine learning?

Objective: This challenge focuses on analysing hard-to-reach areas while adhering to stringent international and environmental standards.

Restore Ecosystems

How can we develop methods to reverse environmental damage in conflict-affected areas, utilising scalable, sustainable technologies and nature-based solutions?

Objective: This challenge targets reversing water and soil pollution, reviving biodiversity, and restoring wildlife habitats to ensure the ecosystem's health and sustainability.

Propel the Investigation

How can we enhance our methods and understanding to support the pursuit of justice for environmental damage due to conflicts?

Objective: This involves refining assessment and documentation techniques to accurately attribute responsibility, consistent with international judicial standards.

Engage Global Audiences

How can we effectively leverage the film and communication sectors to raise global awareness about the impact of conflict and ecocide on the environment?

Objective: This challenge aims to use innovative media strategies, unique messaging, non-traditional financing, and co-production partnerships to reach audiences unfamiliar with or desensitised to these issues.
