Vadym Shchokin

Dr. Vadym Shchokin, Professor, Doctor of Science, Laureate of Ukrainian President Award for young scientists, Director Research Mining Institute of the Krivoy Rog National University, Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine Vadym Shchokin, born in 1974, received a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree (PhD) from the Krivoy Rog National University, in 2000, and a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree (Dr. Tech.) from the Krivoy Rog National University, in 2012. After defending his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of automation of control processes in 2013, he was awarded the academic title of Professor at the Department of Power Supply and Energy Management. Research interests: intelligent process control systems, fuzzy logic, Neural Networks, industrial ecology. Author of more than 120 scientific papers, including monographs and patents. Scientific and technical work on "System of automatic control of sintering sintering process", included in the List of innovative priorities of the state, Plan of scientific and technical development of Ukraine for 1999-2000, paragraph 129, section 2.4 (mining) based on the Cabinet of 14.12.98р. № 1,971 item 10, approved by the Ministry of Science of Ukraine; From 2004 to 2006 he was the responsible executor of scientific and technical work, which was financed from the state budget of Ukraine in the direction of "Development of the most important new technologies by scientific institutions" within the state budget theme №DZ / 30-2004 from 14.04.04. - 5.04.3. 2006 grant of the President of Ukraine for conducting research in accordance with the Order of the President of Ukraine № 1279/2005-rp "On the appointment of grants of the President of Ukraine to support the research of young scientists." Scientific work - Development of a method and software for fuzzy planning of energy audit at energy-intensive facilities.
